Had the chance to play a Sharpe Practice Tyrolean Rebellion scenario at the club with my regular opponent's beautifully painted figures.
Tyroleans had to stop the Bavarians destroying a bridge in South Tyrol.
Tyroleans take the bridge!
But they are forced to fall back after being hit by Bavarian musket fire.

Looks like fun -- hope you were on the winning side...haha! I have played Sharpe Practice exactly once. It seems interesting once you wrap your head around the tea time thing! You also have to be good with a rules set where your figures may not get to move for awhile, but the opponents seem to be scooting across the board!
ReplyDeleteYep, I played the Bavarians. The uncertainty of who gets to take a turn is actually one of the things about TFL games that appeals to me. Of course I'm familiar with the frustration when the cards seem to be stacked against you.
